Raiding your cupboards is the first place to start. I don’t mean raid as in the usual way you may raid your cupboards because this time you are going to be hunting for everything that you know is bad for you, or at least goes against the mission you have taken on, to learn how to lose stomach fat fast. Sugar and foods that are high in sugar content are the first place to start, and these days with the requirement of most food companies to apply accurate labeling, it is easy to see how much sugar is in each item in your cupboard. I personally aim for a threshold of 10-15g of fat per 100g of product, and at this level I would be moderating my intake of these foods. Obviously the less sugar in the food, the better for you the food is.

Looking at the average packet of cookies you will find that the sugar content is up around 40-50% per 100g of food, and this is ridiculous! Eating just 20 grams of biscuits/cookies puts 2 teaspoons of sugar into your system. Eating these cookies with a cup of coffee (sugared) could put 4 teaspoons of sugar into your system. Eating them with a glass of soda (flavored) could increase the sugar content to 10 teaspoons of sugar, or quarter of a cup of sugar! Yep, it sounds atrocious when you look at it this way, but this is the fact of the matter.

Removing these items from your kitchen is the first step to change. Couple that with a stable food consumption routine of 6 small meals each day instead of 3 large meals, and you have taken step 2 of your changed routine. Consuming smaller meals more often stops the urge to “snack” between meals, and it also allows the body to take up the goodness in each of those smaller meals as opposed to releasing a lot of it when we eat larger meals.

Drinking between 6 and 8 glasses of fresh water each day is another way to remove any buildup of impurities and helps to keep the body hydrated. Drinking water also has the added effect of making you feel satisfied rather than hungry.

All of these things will start you on your way to a healthier lifestyle and reduction in weight. This is the beginning of learning how to lose stomach fat fast, and you will be surprised at just how fast you will notice a difference, just by removing the sugar.
